ICE AGE: Frozen Secrets is a traveling museum exhibit that tells the story of the Ice Age through fun, interactive displays that create exciting experiences for young visitors.
Full scale dioramas with interactive components, as well as many other independent hands-on activities, help solve mysteries such as:
When and where was the Ice Age? What was life like then? How do today's animals compare to their extinct Ice Age relatives?
ICE AGE: Frozen Secrets provides rare opportunities to 'touch the Ice Age'. Visitors can interact with real fossils from ancient animals, including sabretooth cat, woolly mammoth, dire wolf, Ice Age bear, giant beaver, mastodon and giant sloth. Authentic encounters make the Ice Age come alive! Lessons of the Ice Age abound. How did glaciers form and move? Was there ice where you live now during the Ice Age? Discover the answers in fun graphic displays.
Kids of every age can show how they think Ice Age creatures lived and behaved at the habitat tables and the Ice Age puppet theater.
Adventures include assembling the 3-D mastodon puzzle and the 3-D sabretooth cat puzzle.
The exhibit comes with a detailed 40-page Educator's Guide that can be customized by the host venue.
Designed for science/discovery centers and children's museums, the exhibit is flexible and can be displayed in spaces from 1500 to 2500 square feet. Some elements can be omitted to accommodate smaller display spaces.
